just a quick post

heres the drawing iv got in the works (: 

TATE

Yesterday i went to the Tate Britain with my uni class and it was really really good but also quite scary there was a n exhibition there called the coral reef and its not supposed to just be another art piece its supposed to make you feel something, and it does. its a series of interconnecting rooms each one individual to different era's, religions and society's but all are in disrepair there are alarms and motion sensors on certain things to go off when your in certain positions and honestly it just became harder and harder to go on, i don't really get scared of things like that very often but it was just impossible to stop, at one point you walk in to an exact replica of the entrance and when you try to take the exit it takes you to a warehouse filled with rubbish. eventually i found my way out, my soul ruined a little bit but i loved every moment of it .

lately iv been spending a lot of time in the university studio playing around with the green screen and lighting and stuff which is pretty awesome so i thought id show you the first picture i completed using the photos i took.

Every Freaking Time I Die

on the 30th of November i finally got to see my favourite band Every time i die, and its a memory that will stay with me forever mainly because iv lost my hearing and everything hurts so its hard to forget about it at this moment in time, but I'm sure with some counselling ill get through this so thanks for all the support.

but seriously it was fucking banging they were supported by trash talk as well which just made the night ten times as mental, iv never seen a more personal band, the lead singer lee spent most off the night lying on the floor in the crowd screaming while we ran around him hurting ourselves, i really do wonder why we do these things some times. it wasn't helped by the fact that i showed my mum the following video and all she said was "why are you running in circles" aside from that crushing bit of reality it was an awesome set and i even got to shake Andy for every time i dies hand (after summing up the self confidence) and they ended the whole thing with my favourite song 'floater' which just made the whole thing perfect.
I'm currently in my girlfriends flat eating lots of crap food in preparation for the jagermeister hot tub party tonight at Colchester uni so no doubt ill be putting photos of that up soon then iv got a whole buncha new photography shit to show y'all, i even got to use a green screen and studio this time how cool is that but yeahh ill see you soon.

the day a stormtrooper attacked me

while on an outing in Colchester town with the girlfriend we spotted some storm troopers, well i saw them Georgia is a mixture of blind and star wars illiterate so i assume what she saw was white walking lampposts. I giddily ran up to have my photo taken while they wasted no time in throwing me to the floor so all i can assume is that after only having to have there picture taken with 4 year old's they assumed i was an attacker as im an 18 year old and was taller than most of them and literally barged through groups of small children just to get to them . they turned out to be quite pleasant once they realised i was just a fan boy.

i think i was the only person there who knew which character the guy in red was supposed to be 

im still not sure whether to be proud of that or not

dry point etching up in here

So recently i found iv been doing lots of printing and dry point etching so i thought id have a go at doing a really big piece filled with bands, this is about two days work but i thought id put it up even though its not finished 

this was a background test, i just poured some white spirit on to some rolled 

out ink and used newspaper to soak it up 

it looks out of focus but its not i layered a red print over a black one but did

it slightly out of line.

this is a goblin, that is all.

 its getting bigger i added tyler the creator and jordan buckley to the far left

i went all out for trying to do detail on them.

University partys

The good thing about have a girlfriend who's also at uni is you get to go to double the parties which is pretty shweet in my book here some photos for you to look at and maybe by looking at them we can grow together not just as people but as something much larger than our wildest dreams...... or something, i dont know just look at the funny pictures
